Methodology
How QLegion assembles and scores observed signals from public reporting.
QLegion uses deterministic term matching on article metadata (titles, descriptions, sources) to associate content with tracked terms and verticals. We do not store article bodies.
- Momentum compares the last 7 days of hits against the prior 7, by term.
- Activity is summed over a rolling 60-day window.
- Classifications (Rising, Steady, Cooling, Dormant) follow the shared momentum rules.
- Signals are observational only; no predictive models are applied.
